Introduction

The Friends of the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea and St. Maughold is a public charity established in the Isle of Man. It is structured as a company limited by guarantee and was incorporated on 9th March 2001 No. 102286c. It is registered as a charity in the Isle of Man No. 818.

The Friends of the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea and St. Maughold was established for the express purpose of supporting the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea and St. Maughold, in Ramsey, Isle of Man.

The Church was built in 1909, to the design of Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, and is a listed building in the Isle of Man. It is an exceptionally beautiful church of great architectural merit and importance.
